InventHelp Client's HELPEN HAND Eases Writing for People With Manual Disabilities (CBA-2921)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) May 22, 2017 -- An inventor from Columbia, S.C., wants to offer people with manual disabilities a better way to write with a pen. "My wife’s hand was damaged in a firework accident, so she couldn’t grip a pen properly," he said. "This inspired me to invent something that helps people with manual problems."
He then designed and created a prototype for the HELPEN HAND, a special pen that enables a person with a manual disability to hold a pen in a more comfortable and ergonomic manner. This avoids struggle and strain, as well as allows for more legible writing.
Compact, portable, easy to use and producible in different sizes and colors, the HELPEN HAND is designed to promote independence and dignity for people with carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis, nerve damage and other hand problems.
The original design was submitted to the Columbia office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
