InventHelp Inventor Develops Apparel for Individuals with Incontinence (TPA-2361)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) November 21, 2016 -- "My mother passed away in 2012 from Alzheimer's disease," said an inventor from Riverview, Fla. "During the prior two years that I cared for her, she would attempt to change her undergarments, creating an unsanitary environment for herself and her surroundings."
The patent-pending HELPER is a garment that the inventor designed primarily for wearing by individuals who require assistance for bathing or changing their clothes. It contains urine and feces if the wearer has an accident. The accessory prevents the wearer from trying to remove soiled undergarments. This ensures that the surrounding area remains sanitary by avoiding messes, which stops the spread of germs and potentially infectious diseases. The design enables a caregiver to calmly stop what they are doing in order to help the individual after an accident. In addition, the apparel provides added peace of mind by lessening stress.
The original design was submitted to the Tampa office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
