Inventor and InventHelp Client Develops Leak Detector for Hot-Water Heaters (NJD-1045)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) April 06, 2016 -- "When a hot-water heater leaks, it can cause devastating flood damage, leading to hundreds or thousands of dollars worth of repairs," said an inventor from Somerset, N.J. "In order to avoid leaks in the first place, I came up with this flood-prevention system."
He developed the patent-pending HOFFMAN'S WATER HEATER TURNOFF to shut off the water supply if the hot-water heater begins to leak. This prevents the area around the hot-water heater from flooding, which avoids the need for expensive repairs. The system provides added peace of mind. Additionally, it is adaptable for use with any hot-water heater and features automatic operation.
The original design was submitted to the New Jersey office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
