Missing the opening scenes from a favorite television show because of a missing remote control is probably rather common. Fortunately, there is no longer a need to worry about being late for the start of the show because of the creativity of three inventors from Baltimore, Md.
They developed the eco-friendly IRemote to prevent the loss of a remote control device. As such, it not only eliminates the expense of replacing a missing remote but also avoids having to waste time searching for one that has been misplaced. Another advantage is that it alerts the user to recharge the remote when needed. At the same time, it eliminates the need to replace dead batteries and helps recharge other devices. Furthermore, it has the capability to combine remote controls for multiple devices into one unit, can be used as a Wi-Fi guest hot spot and can include smartphone apps for basic functions. It is also convenient, effective and affordably priced. In addition, it is easy to install and operate.
The inventors’ personal observations inspired the idea. “We were concerned with saving time and eliminating the hassle of trying to find a missing remote control device. We often found ourselves in this situation and realized we weren’t alone,” one of them said.
