InventHelp Inventor Develops Showering Accessory for IV Patients (TPA-2091)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) September 12, 2015 -- "As a renal patient who has undergone numerous surgeries, I am familiar with the difficulties inherent in trying to shower while attached to an IV," said an inventor from Tampa, Fla. "I came up with this idea as an easy way to keep the IV and insertion site dry and protected."
He developed the patent-pending I V COVER to cover IV sites while bathing or showering. This prevents sites from getting wet. It eliminates the need to wait for medical personnel to wrap up the site in order to shower. The accessory reduces the risk of developing infections. It is designed for ease of application and removal. Additionally, the invention provides added peace of mind.
The original design was submitted to the Tampa office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
