A personal emergency situation that could have resulted in fatality woke up an inventor from Sharpespburg, Ga., to the importance of having a living will prepared and available just in case the worst happens. A lot of people don’t take the time to do this, and even if someone is still alive when found after a life-threatening incident, they might not be able to speak for themselves. "In order to solve these problems, I conceived of the K Lad," she said.
This device makes a person’s living will available to others in a quick, easy manner. It provides crucial information in the event of a serious injury or fatality. It also helps if the user can’t speak for him- or herself. Most important, it allows for prompt and accurate action in accordance with the user’s wishes.
The device is stylish, compact, easy to use, convenient and producible in many design variations.
The original design was submitted to the Atlanta office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
