An inventor, from Stockbridge, Ga., thought there needed to be a way to provide added protection against home invasions and break-ins, so he invented the Kick Shield.

The invention features an adaptable design that is easy to install and use so it is ideal for households. Additionally, the Kick Shield can be adapted for use on most typical residential exterior doors and a prototype is available.
The inventor described the invention design. “My design offers an improved way to lock a residential door.”
