New Safety Harness Improves Nighttime Visibility for Workers - Designed by InventHelp Client (LAX-740)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) October 09, 2016 -- An inventor from Los Angeles, Calif., wanted a way to make working in the dark less difficult and dangerous. As such, he designed the patent-pending LED Light Strap – a new safety harness that would be idea for use outdoors during the evening, nighttime and early morning hours.
The LED Light Strap illuminates the area in front of its wearer. This makes it easy for the person to see their surroundings in the dark and eliminates the need to hold a flashlight, which leaves the hands free. Furthermore, the unit makes an individual easier to spot when little ambient light is available, which enhances safety.
The inventor was inspired by the need to improve workplace efficiency and safety at night. “A safety harness that illuminated the area in front of its wearer would not only make it easier for them to perform work-related tasks at night,” said the inventor, “but would make them more visible, which would prevent accidents, injuries, and fatalities."
The original design was submitted to the Los Angeles office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
