InventHelp, based in Pittsburgh, is submitting the LIFT SEAT to companies in the hopes of their good faith review.

"Nobody wants to touch a filthy toilet seat, which is why I developed a way to lift and lower the seat without the need to touch it," said an inventor from Miami, Fla. "It also helps avoid the problem of men forgetting to put the toilet seat back down after urinating."

He developed the LIFT SEAT to provide a more efficient way to lift and lower the toilet seat. The design saves the user from having to touch a dirty toilet seat. This minimizes contact with germs, which helps to prevent the spread of disease. It is designed to keep men from urinating on the toilet seat. The unit ensures that men put the toilet seat back down after urinating. All of this prevents common household arguments.

The original design was submitted to the Hollywood office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
