InventHelp Inventor Designs Modified Saw for Tree Trimming (POO-135)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) November 02, 2015 -- An inventor, from Alsea, Ore., thought there needed to be a time-saving alternative to manually pruning tree limbs, so he invented the LIMBOB.
The LIMBOB offers a simplified way to remove lower tree limbs that are unsafe and unsightly, or it can be used on young trees. In doing so, it ensures that the lumber is free of knots when the mature tree is harvested. As a result, it saves time, it offers added convenience and it improves the quality of lumber. The invention features an adaptable design that is easy to operate so it is ideal for logging contractors and landscaping services. Additionally, the LIMBOB can be easily used on a variety of tree sizes.
The inventor described his inspiration for the invention. “I work in the timber industry and I thought there needed to be a safer and easier way to trim tree limbs, so I invented this.”
The original design was submitted to the Portland office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
