Inventor and InventHelp Client Develops Improved Diaper (LGI-1679)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) February 15, 2014 -- An inventor from Brooklyn, N.Y., has come up with a better alternative to traditional diapers.
He developed the Diaper Cath to capture and collect urine inconspicuously. The accessory eliminates potential embarrassment and saves the wearer from having to worry about urine soaking through. This provides added peace of mind. The diaper also prevents skin breakdown and decreases the risk of infection. Additionally, the design ends the need for an invasive catheter.
The inventor's personal observations inspired the idea. "I developed this invention to help elderly female patients suffering from urinary incontinence," he said. "It helps them stay dry longer while also protecting their skin from irritation."
The original design was submitted to the Long Island office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
