After having a hard time cutting a watermelon for his children, an inventor from Georgetown, Del., decided that there needs to be a better way to perform this task.

The MELON SLICER enables a user to slice a watermelon more quickly, easily and safely. This eliminates the need to do this manually, which also ensures precision and equal portions. Overall, the device saves time and effort. Ergonomic, versatile and easy to use, it's suitable for households, restaurants and catering companies.

The original design was submitted to the National Sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
