Mealtimes often bring spills and dropped food that napkins are not built to handle. Particularly with children, a better option is needed. That’s exactly what an inventor from Lakewood, N.J. was thinking so he found a way to catch those spills before they ruin a child’s clothing.
He developed a prototype for the patent-pending MUNCHTIME MUMMUU to protect children’s clothing while they are eating, drinking or playing. As such, it reduces the frequency of pretreating children’s dirty clothing at laundry time. It reduces stress on parents and children, as children will not have to change their clothes. At the same time, it lowers the cost associated with replacing damaged clothing. Besides that, it is easy to use and affordably priced. Furthermore, it saves time and energy for busy parents and caretakers so that they can deal with other things in life. It is also lightweight, portable and disposable. In addition, it is convenient, comfortable, and effective.
The inventor’s personal observations inspired the idea. “After watching family members and friends deal with the spills and other causes of dirt and stains on their children’s clothing, I decided to find a way to protect their clothing during mealtime or other activities,” he said. "Also, in this world where people are crazy about health, infections and bacteria with wet and dirty cloth, this would provide added peace of mind."during mealtime or other activities,” he said.
