InventHelp, a leading inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Texas, has designed a personal-care device that makes it easy to apply lotion or medication to a hard-to-reach area. This invention is patented.
“My Back Buddy” could eliminate the need for assistance when applying lotion or medication to the back, and provides thorough coverage. The product would prevent the user from having to stress and strain to try and apply lotion to hard-to-reach areas. Ideal for use by individuals with medical conditions or limited mobility, My Back Buddy is also for use by those that enjoy pampering themselves and taking care of their skin. The invention would be easy and convenient to use.
The handle measures approximately 24-inches long, and would be produced from plastic. Various designs could include a long, thin rod, a handle with a ball at the end or a T-shaped handle. The handle would accommodate a back sponge, produced in small, medium and large sizes. To use, an individual would place lotion or medication onto the sponge, then would use the handle to rub the sponge on the back to apply lotion. A travel version of the My Back Buddy could also be produced for easy packing when on-the-go.
“I always have to ask my husband to apply lotion to my entire back and shoulders because I cannot reach those areas myself,” said the inventor. “This item will enable the user to apply lotion or medication to their own back, without needing assistance.”
InventHelp is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor. For more information, telephone Dept. 11-DLL-2425 at (800) 851-6030.
