InventHelp® Client Patents “O.F.D.P.” – Automobile Invention Allows for Hassle- and Injury-Free Oil Changes
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) July 25, 2017 -- InventHelp, a leading inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Connecticut, has designed a device that could reduce messes and aid a user in avoiding burns when changing a vehicle’s oil. This invention is patented.
“O.F.D.P.” is inserted into an oil filter so that the filter doesn’t leak hot oil during the process. This design could provide a better way to change a vehicle’s oil by reducing mess, preventing burns and saving time and effort. According to the inventor, O.F.D.P. would be ideal for vehicle owners, mechanics and fleet companies.
The O.F.D.P. unit could be producible from a hexagonal bolt. The unit would feature a rubber washer in its center. The washer would include a ¼-inch hole in its center. The user would insert the unit into the oil filter before draining the oil. This function could prevent leakage. Variations of O.F.D.P. could include different sizes, colors, threads and materials, as well as a metric-system version.
InventHelp is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor. For more information, telephone Dept. 13-CTO-599 at (800) 851-6030.
