GPS Transmitting Life Vest Invented by InventHelp Client (AVZ-1488)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) December 28, 2016 -- Water sports and boating activities are entertaining for people of all ages but come with the inherent risk of drowning. Despite that very real risk, water activities are very popular for boat owners, athletes, outdoorsmen, vacationers and more.
An inventor from Beulaville, N.C., has invented the patent-pending PalaemonCoat LifeVest, a life jacket that helps safety personnel locate the wearer in an emergency situation. "As someone who works in the field of electronics, I am very familiar with the capabilities of GPS transmitters," said the inventor. "I wanted to use my knowledge to invent a device that helps save lives."
PalaemonCoat LifeVest increases the wearer’s chances of surviving an emergency situation, chances of being spotted by rescue personnel, and chances of being rescued. It also reduces the risk of injury, as well as provides individuals with an increased sense of security, peace of mind and preparedness. In addition, it eliminates the need for a boater to purchase a separate EPIRB radio beacon.
This invention would appeal to boat owners, beach goers and more. Variations of this invention include different sizes to fit people of all ages.
The original design was submitted to the Pittsburgh office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
