Inventor and InventHelp Client Assists with Curbing Your Dog (LGI-1549)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) September 22, 2014 -- To be a good pet owner, an individual has to pick up after their dog when they go on walks together. Not only is it the responsible thing to do, it's also the law in many areas. However, who really wants to touch their dog's feces? An inventor from Brooklyn, N.Y., has come up with a solution.
She created a prototype for the Poop Collector to offer a convenient, hygienic way to curb one's dog.
The accessory saves the user from having to bend over in order to pick up pet waste, which prevents back strain. The unit also ends the need to touch waste with one's hands. In addition, the easy-to-use device eliminates odors.
The inventor's personal experience provided the inspiration for her idea. "I am an animal lover, but even I have to admit - I do not like cleaning up after dogs," she said. "To help out, that is why I came up with a better way to pick up and dispose of pet waste."
The original design was submitted to the Long Island office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
