Assault Weapon Accessory Wire Protector Invented by InventHelp Client (HTM-2448)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) November 26, 2016 -- Weapon accessories such as gun lights, laser sights or night scope vision are electrical, and include a wire. Such accessories install to the Picatinny or Weaver rail of an assault weapon, and oftentimes, the wire makes the installation or accessory swap a cumbersome chore. Additionally, the wire can get in the way of the gun operator, interfering with the mission at hand.
An inventor from Reno, Nev., has invented the patent-pending PICATINNY RAIL WIRE MANAGEMENT CLIP, which secures and protects wires or cables from a range of weapons accessories when mounted. "I have not been able to find any product that secures wires from weapon accessories into my Picatinny rail," said the inventor. "I identified that there was a need for such a device and decided to invent it myself." PICATINNY RAIL WIRE MANAGEMENT CLIP prevents wires from snagging on the user's clothing while in the field and allows users to reconfigure accessories quickly and easily.
This invention also provides the user with a physical placement for a tape switch placement in poorly-lit conditions. It would benefit law enforcement officers, military personnel, recreational hunters and gun owners.
