Combination Neck and Backrest Invented by InventHelp Clients (NJD-789)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) October 08, 2015 -- While a wheelchair provides the best mobility option for disabled individuals, it may not score high in comfort. Fortunately, two inventors from Staten Island, N.Y., have found a way to solve that problem.
They developed a prototype for PILLOW OF COMFORT to support the shoulders, neck and back when used in a sitting position. As such, it relieves neck, spine and back pressure and pain. Though it can be used in vehicles, nursing homes, hospitals and homes, it is particularly beneficial for disabled individuals confined to wheelchairs that have little or no back or neck support. Furthermore, it eliminates the need for a separate pillow to support the back. Besides being comfortable, it is also durable and affordably priced. In addition, it is effective and easy to use, clean and store. The PILLOW OF COMFORT is usable in homes, cars, nursing homes and other hospital facilities.
The inventors’ work experience inspired the idea. “Our years of experience working with clients in wheelchairs made us aware of the need for this type of support to keep them comfortable,” one of them said. “It is, however, actually beneficial for anyone with or without shoulder, neck or back issue.”
The original design was submitted to the New Jersey office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
