InventHelp, founded in 1984, is working to submit the Plug Perfect to appropriate companies for their consideration.

InventHelp®, a leading inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from California, has invented an alignment aid tab for use and proper alignment of a 110-volt male end power plug to a 110-volt power supply receptacle, i.e. plugging a vacuum cleaner plug into a wall receptacle or extension cord. This invention is patented.

“Plug Perfect” features a solid design made from thin flexible plastic that contains no moving parts. Plug Perfect simply slides over the male prongs and rests self-affixed to the back of the plug. No glue or adhesive is required. The round hole in the alignment aid tab provides both visual and touch cues for proper alignment of a plug for standard 3-hole 110-volt receptacles. The easy-to-use alignment aid tab is designed to promote a first attempt proper alignment when connecting a 110-volt or 12-volt sourced object “to its receptacle”.

Plug Perfect 12-volt application is for use with USB ports, phone charges, items that connect with personal electronic devices, tablets, etc. This visual and touch aid tab shows perfect pre-alignment of a plug for a receptacle, virtually eliminating the need to flip the plug over for proper alignment. The tabs promote safety, save time and effort, and create peace of mind. Plug Perfect comes in a variety of colors, including glow-in-the-dark, which amplify visual and touch capabilities. Its convenient, one time installation, is ideal for low light or no sight conditions.

InventHelp is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor. For more information, telephone Dept. 14-SAH-763 at (800) 851-6030.
