Inventor and InventHelp Client Develops Lift-Assist Device (POO-145)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) November 30, 2015 -- "I had a roommate I was caring for, and she had fallen several times," said an inventor from Carson, Wash. "She could not get up by herself, and it was difficult for me to help her up. I came up with this idea so that it would be easier to help a fallen individual stand back up."
She developed the patent-pending PNEUMATIC LIFT ASSIST to help an individual with limited mobility to get back up after suffering a fall. The device enables family members, friends or care providers to assist the fallen individual more easily. It reduces the physical stress and strain on the individuals helping the person up. The accessory eliminates the need to call EMTs in order to receive lift assistance. The unit provides added peace of mind. It features a compact, easily portable design. Furthermore, the invention is designed to enhance personal safety.
The original design was submitted to the Portland office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
