"I am a computer technician and fix computer hardware," said an inventor from Twin Falls, Idaho. "I have been looking for a way to protect hardware against serious damages, which inspired me to invent this."
He created the POWER SUPPLY CONTROLLING DEVICE to protect computer hardware and other whole devices working with DC power supplies. The unit safeguards against damages caused by power surges. This ensures that components are not affected by over- or under-voltage. The system offers added peace of mind. It retrofits to existing desktop computers. Additionally, the invention is easy to install. It can control output and won't let the power supply damage electronic boards.
The original design was submitted to the Boise office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
