“While riding the bus, I saw a passenger in a wheelchair drenched from the rain,” said an inventor, from Bronx, N.Y. “I thought there had to be a convenient and comfortable way to protect them from bad weather, so I invented this.” She invented the PROTECTOR.
The PROTECTOR enables disabled individuals to safely travel during cold or inclement weather. In doing so, it ensures that the user remains dry and warm. As a result, it provides added protection and it increases comfort and warmth. The invention features a practical design that is convenient and easy to use so it is ideal for wheelchair users and disabled individuals. Additionally, the PROTECTOR is producible in design variations.
The inventor described the invention design. “My design enables a disabled individual to travel more comfortably during poor weather conditions.”
The original design was submitted to the Manhattan office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
