Pittsburgh-based InventHelp is submitting the Quick Lock Bike Security System to companies for their review.

"Bicycles are stolen every day, and replacing a bike is not cheap," said an inventor from Hudson, Colo. "In order to safeguard a parked bicycle from theft and other types of harm, I devised this improved security system."

He developed the patent-pending Quick Lock Bike Security System to securely lock a bicycle to a fixed object. The unit prevents the bicycle from being stolen or tampered with. The device deters would-be thieves. It offers added peace of mind when leaving a bicycle unattended. The invention saves money by avoiding replacement costs for a stolen bicycle. Furthermore, the device is adaptable for use with any bicycle.

The original design was submitted to the Denver office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
