Bicycle Security Device Invented by InventHelp Client (DVR-985)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) October 05, 2016 -- With physical fitness a priority for good health, bicycling has become a popular form of exercise. However, frequent bicycle thefts are a deterrent for many people who might otherwise benefit from such an activity. Fortunately, an inventor from Denver, Colo., has found a way to stop would-be bicycle thieves.
He developed a prototype for the patent-pending SAFE LOCK to provide an easy way to lock a parked bike in place. As such, it keeps the bicycle secure while its owner is away. It, therefore, prevents bicycle theft and eliminates replacement costs. At the same time, it eliminates the need to carry and keep track of a standard bicycle lock. Thus, it saves time and effort. Furthermore, it draws attention to anyone tampering with the bike or lock. It is also, convenient, effective and affordably priced. In addition, it is easy to install and use and built to last.
The inventor’s personal experience inspired the idea. “I found that securing my bike with a standard cable lock did not prevent it from being stolen. More than once, when I returned for the bike, I found a thief had cut the cable. I wanted to keep this type of occurrence from discouraging those who might otherwise enjoy riding bikes as much as I do,” he said.
The original design was submitted to the Denver office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
