InventHelp Inventor Designs a Protective Athletic Sock (NJD-1241)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) November 30, 2016 -- An inventor from Hillsborough, N.J., wanted to fulfill the need for a low- to high-impact shock-absorbing sock that would offer improved support and protection of an athlete’s ankle.
The patent-pending SAFETY ANKLE SOCK helps absorb impact and prevents a wide range of injuries. It has a comfortable and supportive fit. It also allows an athlete to perform with peace of mind and confidence. Additionally, it could be worn after an athlete experiences a minor strain or sprain. A prototype is available.
"I came up with this idea from years of experience as a soccer coach," said the inventor. "It was originally designed for soccer players' safety, but it it could also carry over to field hockey, lacrosse, baseball and football."
The original design was submitted to the New Jersey office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
