InventHelp, founded in 1984 in Pittsburgh, is submitting the SCRAPE AWAY to companies for their potential feedback.

"When I was younger I had bad acne and dark spots," said an inventor from Oceanside, Calif. "I started using a facemask and scraping my face and noticed that my acne started to clear up. It made me want to help others get help with their own acne issues."

He developed the SCRAPE AWAY to remove dirt and oil from the face. This results in a clearer, healthier complexion. The accessory evens out skin tone and removes blackheads. It also minimizes acne and improves self-confidence. Additionally, the device works with every skin type and is designed for ease of use.

The original design was submitted to the San Diego office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
