Auto Safety System Invented for Preventing Wrong-Way Crashes - Designed by InventHelp Client (SUU-223)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) November 07, 2016 -- While ramps and roadways are often clearly marked with “wrong way” or “do not enter” signs, these warnings cannot physically stop a distracted driver from traveling in the wrong direction. Thanks to the creativity of an inventor from Carmi, Ill., however, there is now something that is much more effective in preventing such dangerous mistakes.
He developed SCREECHING HALT to promote highway safety. As such, it prevents deaths caused by drivers traveling in the wrong direction. Similarly, it protects against injuries and property damage related to wrong-way crashes. As a result, it reduces the number of police and insurance accident reports filed. At the same time, it operates automatically around the clock. It is also weatherproof, effective and reliable. Also the handheld battery-powered unit can help police stop high-speed pursuits. Overall, it's self-contained, stand-alone, solar-powered, requires no electricity, and installs easily and quickly. In addition, its simple design minimizes production costs.
The inventor’s personal concerns inspired the idea. “I read that there are a significant number of deaths every year due to drivers going the wrong way and decided I would find a way to stop that,” he said.
The original design was submitted to the St. Louis office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
