Adjustable Shower Chair Invented by InventHelp Client (POO-244)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) January 10, 2017 -- "As an occupational therapist, I noticed that most of my patients have trouble fitting a shower chair into their home shower stall," said one of two inventors from Vancouver, Wash. "I designed this as a safe alternative to traditional, poorly fitting shower chairs."
They designed the patent-pending SHOWER CHAIR as a modified shower assistive device that would adjust to fit into shower stalls. The invention would feature sturdy, nonslip components that would accommodate up to 500 lbs.
The inventor explained, "Not only would this design make it easier for a person to fit a shower chair into a shower stall, it may also help prevent injury from slipping and falling on wet and slick chair surfaces."
The original design was submitted to the Portland office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
