InventHelp Inventor Develops Improved Self-Adhesive Bandage (OCC-955)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) October 08, 2015 -- "As an RN, I saw a need for a bandage that stops bleeding more effectively than conventional adhesive bandages," said an inventor from Brea, Calif. "I came up with this idea for a bandage that not only covers the wound, but also applies pressure as well."
He developed the patent-pending SIXTH FINGER to apply pressure directly to the wound. This helps blood to form clots in order to stop bleeding. The accessory serves as a more effective wound covering than conventional adhesive bandages. It eliminates the need to hold the injury site in order to apply pressure. The unit also keeps the area clean and sanitary to protect against germs and ensure safe healing. Furthermore, it is easy to apply and remove.
