Inventor and InventHelp Client Develops Alternative Medical-Alert Device for Heavy Sleepers (CLT-683)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) April 15, 2016 -- An inventor from Charlotte, N.C., has developed an alarm system that makes it easier for heavy sleepers or those with sleep problems to wake up in the morning.
"Many people complain that they don't hear alarms due to restless sleep and end up being late for work or other important appointments," he said. "My idea helps people to wake up on time, especially heavy sleepers, those who suffer from sleep apnea (such as overweight adults and children with enlarged tonsils), those who are sleep deprived and deaf/hard-of-hearing individuals."
It also is great for use by individuals who sleep with a partner, so as to not wake the other individual up. Easy and convenient to operate and use, it is producible in design variations. It is patented.
To reiterate, this invention is especially helpful in combating the deleterious effects of sleep apnea disorder (a condition in which the airway collapses or becomes blocked during sleep, causing shallow breathing or breathing pauses), which can be more dangerous if undiagnosed.
The original design was submitted to the Charlotte office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
