In most soap dishes the bar of soap sits in a puddle of water. However, thanks to the creativity of an inventor from Tampa, Fla., the messy soup residue that results is a thing of the past.
He developed a prototype for SOAP SLIDER to keep a used bar of soap dry to make it last longer. As such, it eliminates wasted bar soap in a bathroom shower or sink. Besides that, it saves the time and effort required to clean up soap residue from sinks, bathtubs, and shower walls. At the same time, it saves money by reducing the frequency of purchasing expensive soap. Another advantage is that it keeps the soap bar clean and unaffected by hair and other debris. It also prevents the soap bar from sliding off the dish or slipping out of the user’s hand. In addition, it is convenient, effective and affordably priced .
The inventor’s personal experience inspired the idea. “I use a special type of soap bar for my face and was tired of having it melt from sitting in water in a conventional soap dish. I wanted to be able to use all the soap instead of wasting so much of it,” he said.
