Eco Friendly Cell Phone Invented by InventHelp Client (INY-945)

Based in Pittsburgh, InventHelp is submitting this idea, the SOLAR LANTERN, to appropriate companies for their consideration.

More and more cell phone apps are being developed and offered every day. Users may find that the ones requiring a high level of power to run drain the phone’s battery rather quickly. Luckily, an inventor from Indianapolis, Ind., has found an efficient way to restore and maintain battery power in these instances.

He developed a prototype for the patent-pending SOLAR LANTERN to provide extended battery life for cellular telephones. In fact, it affords more efficient battery power than other options. As such, it not only conserves energy but allows use of applications that require a high level of power. It does so with self-rechargeable batteries. Furthermore, it eliminates the full-time need for an electric-powered charger or a backup battery. It is also convenient, easy to use and affordably priced. It is, therefore, ideal for use in the outdoors and whenever electricity is unavailable or inconvenient.

The inventor’s personal experience with a loss of cell phone power inspired the idea. “I invented this item to provide a more efficient way to use electronic devices like cell phones longer without the inconvenience of having a charger available at all times. It is intended for use by bikers, hikers, athletes and other outdo or enthusiasts,” he said.

The original design was submitted to the Indianapolis office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
