InventHelp Inventor Develops Tool for Removing Loose Soil from Holes (SAH-895)

Share Article

InventHelp, a Pittsburgh-based inventor service company, is submitting the SPIRAL SHOVEL to companies for their review.

"After a hole has been dug by a power auger, there is a lot of loose soil left behind in the hole," said an inventor from Lincoln, Calif. "It can literally be a pain to remove all the loose soil, which is why I developed a specialized tool just for this purpose."

He developed the patent-pending SPIRAL SHOVEL to easily remove loose soil from previously dug holes. The tool features an ergonomic design that enables the user to remove loose soil while remaining upright. This reduces the normal stress and strain normally involved in such tasks. It saves time and effort, and improves on-the-job productivity. Furthermore, the device is ideal for use when digging fence posts.

The original design was submitted to the Sacramento office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
