Protective Rim Cover Invented by InventHelp Clients (LAX-653)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) October 30, 2015 -- Whether car owners clean their vehicles themselves or have it done at a car wash, there seems to be no way to avoid getting the tire coating on the rims. Fortunately, two inventors from Santa Barbara, Calif., have found a way to keep the rims free of excess spray.
They developed a prototype for the patent-pending SPRAY GUARD to protect tire rims from becoming coated with tire spray. As such, it eliminates the need to manually wipe the spray coating off the rims. Therefore, users avoid having aches and pains from bending and stooping to reach the rims. It also prevents spray from getting on the hands. What’s more, it saves time and effort for car owners and commercial car wash employees alike. At the same time, it is convenient, user friendly and affordably priced. Besides that, it is effective and easy to store when not in use. Also, its simple design minimizes production costs. In addition, it is lightweight and durable for years of effective use.
The inventors’ personal experience inspired the idea. “We take pride in keeping our cars and tires clean,” one of them said, “but we were tired of wasting the time and energy required to wipe off the tire rims after using a spray solvent on the tires.”
The original design was submitted to the Los Angeles office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
