Aquatic Footwear Invented by InventHelp Client (TPA-2396)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) December 15, 2016 -- While the weather may be picture perfect and the ocean water rippling in gentle waves, a visit by stingrays can abruptly halt an otherwise enjoyable day at the beach. Fortunately, an inventor from St. Peterburg, Fla., has found a way to prepare for unexpected encounters with sting rays.
She developed the patent-pending STING RAY BOOTIE to protect the feet, ankles and lower legs from stingrays and other potentially dangerous aquatic creatures. As such, it enhances water safety. Specifically, it prevents pain and injuries from accidentally stepping on a stingray and getting stung. It, therefore, eliminates the need for medical treatment for a stingray sting. At the same time, it provides peace of mind for a more enjoyable ocean experience. This compact, lightweight and portable garment is also easy to use and reuse. In addition, it is convenient, effective and affordably priced.
The inventor’s personal observation inspired the idea. “While sitting on the beach one day, I saw five different people get stung on or near their feet by stingrays,” she said. “I also heard of numerous other instances at Clearwater Beach where swimmers were stung by these creatures.”
