Child-Friendly Thermometer Probe Cover - Designed by InventHelp Client (NAV-928)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) September 24, 2016 -- Although some children are prepared for having their temperatures taken orally by medical professionals, many are afraid and do not cooperate. For this reason, an inventor from Woodbury, Tenn., has found a way to obtain oral temperature readings quickly and easily, even when patients are hesitant.
She developed a prototype for the patent-pending TEMP-TATIONS to improve oral temperature checks for children and others. As such, it reduces apprehension in pediatric patients. At the same time, it eliminates the need for rectal temperature checks in children old enough for oral readings. Therefore, it saves time and effort for parents and medical professionals. Besides that, it provides peace of mind for concerned parents. It is also ideal for the elderly and special needs patients. Furthermore, it is convenient, effective and affordably priced. In addition, it is compact, lightweight and easy to use.
The inventor’s professional experience inspired the idea. “While working as a nurse, I routinely took children’s temperatures and wanted to make the process more pleasant for them and easier for the medical staff,” she said.
