Collection System Invented for Excess Saliva - Designed by InventHelp Client (NAV-974)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) December 22, 2016 -- Whether elderly or disabled individuals who have a problem with drooling are cared for at home or at a medical or personal care facility, they need to be kept dry and comfortable. Fortunately, an inventor from Nolensville, Tenn., has conceived of an easy way to accomplish this.
She developed THE DROOLER to keep skin, clothing, bed linens and other surfaces dry for individuals dealing with this condition. As such, it helps reduce the incidence of skin irritations caused by constant exposure to damp cloth. At the same time, it promotes sanitary conditions and enhances the comfort and appearance of the affected individuals.
Another distinct advantage is that it eliminates the need for drool bibs, which, in turn, reduces the time, effort and expense associated with changing and washing these bibs. Suitable for both consumer and commercial use, this personal care aid is cost efficient, user friendly and durable for extended use.
The inventor’s work experience inspired the idea. “This idea is job related. As a care giver for people who have a problem with drooling, I was concerned about the constant exposure of their skin to wet or damp cloth if the drool bibs were not changed frequently enough,” she said. The idea is patent pending.
The original design was submitted to the Nashville office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
