InventHelp, founded in 1984, is submitting this idea, THE FLINGER, to companies for their review.

After his shovel broke while breaking ice off his house, an inventor from Greene, N.Y., found that the shovel actually worked better. "That gave me the idea for this improved shovel," he said. He then created a prototype of his idea, and it has served him well for years.

The patent-pending THE FLINGER is an improved shovel that enables a user to shovel in an easier manner. It prevents strain and injury, as well as saves time and effort. Ergonomic and easy to use, the shovel is compatible with snow, compost, mulch, manure, sand, grain and other loose materials.

The original design was submitted to the Houston office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
