InventHelp Inventor Develops Improved Surge Protector (ATH-323)

Share Article

Founded in 1984 in Pittsburgh, InventHelp is submitting THE HERO to appropriate companies for their consideration.

"I lost three DVD players due to power surges, even though theses appliances were plugged into surge protectors," said an inventor from Adairsville, Ga. "This made me realize that surge protectors are not as secure as they could be, which inspired me to improve upon the design."

He created a prototype for patent-pending THE HERO to afford optimum protection for plugged-in electronics. The unit prevents damages caused by voltage surges (as well as lightning strikes). It provides a more effective alternative to traditional surge protectors. The accessory saves money by preventing electronic devices from being rendered unusable by surges. All of this offers added peace of mind.

The original design was submitted to the Atlanta office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
