Two InventHelp® Clients Invent Lounge-Style Chair for Pregnant Women (CBA-2862)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) November 03, 2016 -- Women in the third trimester of their pregnancy often experience back pain from the added weight gain. Fortunately, two inventors from Charleston, S.C., have found a way to ease that discomfort without jeopardizing the health of the baby.
They developed the patent-pending The O Chair to take the pressure off of a pregnant woman’s back caused by the extra weight of the baby she is carrying in front. As such, it not only provides immediate relief from back pain while affording comfortable support for the baby. It also reduces back pain during second and third trimester of pregnancy. It does so by keeping the woman’s weight from pressing on the baby. At the same time, it is user friendly, lightweight and portable. It is also comfortable and easy to open, close and store. In addition, it is convenient, effective and affordably priced.
The inventors’ personal experience inspired the idea. “The only relief from back pain I could find in the third trimester of my pregnancy was to have my husband first dig a hole in the sand. Then I lay face down on the beach with my stomach in the hole. Since it helped so much, I decided to transfer this concept to a chair for pregnant women,” the wife said.
