Bathtub Splash Barrier Invented by InventHelp Client (HLW-1807)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) July 19, 2017 -- A daily bath is often a ritual for parents of young children, using that time as a way to clean and spend time with their child, as well as let their child play in the bathtub. These baths frequently lead to a mess of water that needs to be cleaned up by the parent, as slippery and energetic toddlers tend to splash around in the tub.
An inventor from Key Largo, Fla., has invented TUBBY BUDDY, an adjustable device for the bathtub that helps to keep the water in the tub when bathing children. "I was inspired by my three children," said the inventor. "I know how much of a mess they make when they play in the bathtub, and felt compelled to invent a device that keeps the water from splashing onto the floor." This invention not only helps eliminate the mess and the extra clean-up time after baths, but it also prevents individuals from getting hurt (head trauma, loss of teeth, need for stitches, black eye, broken nose, death, etc.) as a result of slipping and falling while in the tub. This invention eliminates these risks.
This invention would also appeal to elderly individuals that are prone to falling. It prevents bathroom floors from flooding and injuries in the bathtub, improving the safety of a bath and saving time that would be associated with cleanup.
