Weather Shield for Lawn Mowers and Wheelchairs Invented by InventHelp Client (CLT-1169)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) May 23, 2015 -- Most people would like to be able to mow their lawns or go outdoors with their wheelchairs (to go to the store, for example) when it’s convenient for them rather than when the weather cooperates. Well, thanks to an inventor from Charlotte, N.C., people now have more control over their lawn care and wheelchair schedule.
She developed UNIVERSAL CANOPY to protect the user from weather related hazards while using a lawn mower or wheelchair.
For instance, it creates instant shade when there is otherwise none available. Therefore, it gives the user the option to cut the grass or use a wheelchair any time of the day regardless of the weather. As such, it keeps the user shielded against sun, rain and wind. What’s more, it is easy to install, use and maintain.
It also provides longer time periods for lawn work and wheelchair use. In addition, it is convenient, effective and affordably priced. The device will be decorated with the logos, emblems and imagery of the branches of the Armed Forces and other organizations.
The inventor’s personal experience inspired the idea. "I was on my lawn on a very hot day and always seeing wheelchair users in the hot sun, or sitting under trees, or in the sun and rain, without protection," she said.
The original design was submitted to the Charlotte office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
