An inventor from Brooklyn, N.Y., thinks that lighting a room should also be a fashionable experience. "I thought that there needed to be a unique and stylish way to illuminate and decorate a room, so I designed an alternative lamp," she said.

She then created a prototype of VANESSA'S LAMP OF FASHION, which serves as an alternative lamp. It enhances the look of a room and provides a conversation piece. Authentic-looking and stylish, it can be produced in design variations and sizes, from table to full standing floor lamps, with interchangeable accessories.

The original design was submitted to the Manhattan office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
