Shock Absorber Invented for Street Light Fixtures - Designed by InventHelp Client (RGL-134)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) November 19, 2016 -- Since headlights do not always provide adequate lighting for night time driving, well maintained street light fixtures are important. Until now, though, keeping those fixtures working required considerable time, effort and expense for replacements and repairs. Fortunately, an inventor from Hammond, La., has found a more cost efficient method of keeping the lights on.
He developed a prototype for VIBRATION DAMPENING DEVICE FOR LIGHTS to eliminate the vibration of light fixtures on bridges, overpasses and roads. It does so by absorbing the shock from the constant movement of traffic. As such, it extends the life of the light fixtures, saving considerable time and effort for maintenance. At the same time, it reduces the cost of labor and materials. Therefore, it improves productivity for the electricians doing the work. Furthermore, it is easy to install and maintain. It is also versatile for use with any type of street lighting. In addition, it is durable for years of effective use.
The inventor’s professional experience inspired the idea. “For years I worked as an electrician doing maintenance on street lighting and was forever changing the same light fixtures on bridges and overpasses. So I decided to find a way to reduce labor and material costs for this type of work,” he said.
