InventHelp is attempting to submit this client's idea, the Virtual Window, to applicable companies for their consideration.

Although there’s never a good time to be blindsided, perhaps the worst time is when driving a car. The results can be fatal. Fortunately, an inventor from New Castle, Del., has found a way to provide the driver with a clear view behind the vehicle when merging or changing lanes.

He developed the patent-pending Virtual Window to assure better visibility for drivers. In particular, it allows drivers to see traffic behind them on both sides. As such, it eliminates the blind spot so drivers don’t need to turn around to look or ask a passenger for assistance. Therefore, it improves road safety by preventing automobile accidents. In other words, it has the potential to saves lives and prevents injuries and property damage. As a result, it affords peace of mind for drivers. It is also convenient, effective and affordably priced. In addition, it is weatherproof, reliable and easy to operate.

The inventor’s concern for road safety inspired the idea. “Since many automobile accidents are caused by the presence of vehicles in the driver’s blind spot,” he said, “I thought this approach would improve road safety by allowing drivers to see traffic all around them.”

The original design was submitted to the Philadelphia office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
