InventHelp Device Provides Assurance of Hourly Nurse Visits (FED-1483)

Share Article

Pittsburgh-based InventHelp, founded in 1984, is submitting the VISUAL HOURLY TIMER to companies for review.

"As a nurse my responsibility is to check on patients on an hourly basis and optimize patient comfort and satisfaction, as well as their family’s," said one of two inventors from Tacoma, Washington. "In order to promote this, we designed a way for patients and their families to be assured that hourly nurse care will be honored regularly and punctually."

The VISUAL HOURLY TIMER provides assurance that a nurse will check in on a patient every hour. This promotes peace of mind for a patient and his or her family by avoiding worry and discomfort. Overall, it provides clear communication. Easy to use and producible in design variations, it's ideal for hospitals, nursing homes, schools, jails, mental-health facilities with suicide watches, etc.

The original design was submitted to the Seattle office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
