"Putting up holiday lighting can take a long time and involve a good deal of risk, as you have to climb up a ladder in order to get up onto the roof," said an inventor from Simi Valley, Calif. "I thought that there had to be a better, safer way to put up and take down lighting."

She developed Western Coast Innovations to be easy to put up and take down. The design ends the need to climb up ladders onto the roof. This saves time and effort, and reduces hassles and frustrations. The invention lessens the risk of slips and falls to enhance safety. Additionally, it makes holiday decorating easier.

The original design was submitted to the Los Angeles office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
