Truck Safety Device Invented by InventHelp Clients (NJD-1170)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) October 15, 2016 -- A pair of inventors from Tinton Falls and Hamilton, N.J. wanted a way to ensure that a truck driver would be able to maintain control in the event of a front tire blowout. To that end, they invented the WHEEL CONTROL UNIT, a device that would deploy automatically to prevent blowout accidents.
The WHEEL CONTROL UNIT would be a device that would be easy and inexpensive to install. It lowers premium insurance cost, prevents road casualties, and maintains steering control in the event of a wheel blowout by overcoming drag on the blown tire. It could also be designed to fit the wheel rim of any commercial truck.
The inventors were inspired by personal experience. “I, Giussepe Cianci, had a tire blowout and lost control, ending up in the woods,” said the inventors. “We decided to create a device that would reduce the chance of accidents in the case of a blowout.” The inventor suggests that the invention should be made mandatory.
The original design was submitted to the New Jersey office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
