InventHelp® Client's Invention Prevents Wheelchair Wear and Tear (CBA-2383)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) May 15, 2014 -- "My father is wheelchair-bound, and his sweat on the armrests caused the skin on his forearms to break down," said an inventor from Florence, S.C. This inspired her to design a way to prevent this problem.
She then created a prototype of the Wheelchair Cover, an accessory that prevents a user’s sweat from contacting a wheelchair. It maintains a sanitary surface and minimizes wear and tear, which helps avoid skin breakdown and discomfort. The accessory is easy to use and producible in design variations.
The original design was submitted to the Columbia office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
